Monthly post? hmm
I wonder what happened.. I just don't have the mood to blog anymore. =X
It seems like there are way too many things i should do than blogging.. and there are too little things to blog about. Or I may put it this way: I dunno how to blog anymore -.- and if i were to crack my head over this, i would feel guilty for not doing something else instead. Like.. studying.........
Let's look at this example: (omg this feels so lecture-notes XD)
At this moment..
1. Current status:
Studied non-stop through the week for Human Physiology mid-sem test. Finished the test on thursday, relieved. Went for karaoke session with classmates yesterday (our last chance to have fun before exam), had fun. And was drop-dead tired. Now sitting in front of the comp, wondering what i can do to this blog. It doesn't feel right to blog, yet it doesn't feel right not to blog-- what?
2. Possible things to blog about:
- exam timetable is out!
- the karaoke session
- er.. the test?
- little doubts of my capability to finish this course.. but still decided to continue anyway. bring it on!
- my decision to cut down on meats as much as possible.. to play my part in cooling the earth..
- how i feel at times as if i'm married to BPharm -.- as if i'm being isolated from the world and friends outside....
3. Here I am blogging, feeling guilty for:
- not calling Wen Jia to discuss about the gathering thingy.. have been procrastinating for so long.
- not wrapping my chemistry textbook
- not completing what i haven't done about studies.. previous tutorials, revision etc.
Hmm.
Oh well, I BLOGGED ANYWAY =P
Can't you count this as a post? Everything's inside! haha!

Greet from a freshman
Okay.. Finally i'm back. It's been more than a month, people. Hehe.. sorry! (thought no one would read my blog.. lol)
Apparently i mentioned in the last post that i'll be back after settling down in uni. So, like disney asked, have i settled down already?
..can i say no? =X
Nah, just that it's been so hectic that i got no time to blog. Even if i had the time (which rarely happens), i was never in the mood to blog. Sigh. Anyhow, for those who concern, you know i love you. ^^*
Been through some interesting events like the transition camp.. then the whole class joined the Monash University Pharmacy Society (MUPhaS) being launched by my Year2 seniors. (in fact, there are only 2 batches of pharm students in this campus. So yeah.. support seniors. lol) Went for the 1st meeting i.e. welcome party and had fun..
Photos can be found on my facebook. Sorry for the inconvenience.. i'm too lazy to upload them here. =.=
Other than that, uni life is all about lectures, tutorials, practicals, workshops, printing notes, asking questions, getting headache and so on.. =.=
But it's okay, classmates have been nice. (they are all so smart and hardworking~~) So i suppose i'm enjoying so far?
Well, gtg.. for those who dunno, i'm now on mid-semester break with 2 assignments and 1 presentation to be completed/prepared.. and my progression has been real sloww.. (that's why i shoudn't be blogging..ish. See how much i care? =P)
Hope everyone's doing well!

The end. The beginning
Happy CNY and belated Valentine's Day to all!
This year is special as valentine's day falls on the same day as CNY. Sad right, for people who's being taken? (as for single ppl out there-- happy? lol-.-)
Went up to Ipoh to stay over at my aunt's house.
Then on the 15th, we continue our journey with them to visit my grandma and many other mother-side relatives in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
Had fun there, though i still cant speak in Teochew. But hey, i could understand more from their conversations this year.. thus i've improved =)
Here are some of the photos~
On our way back to Ipoh, we saw a spectacular view of sunset which made my sis and i go "woahh!!!" at the first sight. Then i quickly took out the camera and snap this pic from the car window.
Uni is about to begin next week. Finally! I have something new to do or i'll be starting to rot at home.
Got emails from Monash regarding some info on the upcoming orientation week. You know what? I'm going for a 3 days camp with other new students of School of Medicine and Health Science. And this camp is only for my school.
Oh. My. God.
This sounds so cool!
And we're gonna have a jungle trekking or stuffs like that.
Imagine going for a camp while making new friends, and then you're gonna be course mates or even classmates in the future.
Wow.
I hope things are turning out as what i'm imagining.. lol.
Won't be blogging until i've settled down i guess.
Best wishes to all of you! Till then~

For once, i'm proud to tell that i am the photographer for a pic. XD
So basically that's all for my CNY. Kinda boring, i know. -.-*****

Go simple.
Ahhh screw it~
I'm not going to do any html thing on my blog template anymore.
It's killing!
So this is the one. Simple theme.
Finally, after a month, my blog is no longer under maintenance. =)
It's back! Tadaa!
Little Lulu + Lulu-ness.
Straight to the point. =P
And, i've brought along another big news of mine. Guess what?
Could have failed on the road..
Engine died TWICE when i was driving up a steep slope (steeper than the one inside) leading to a junction. *guilty*
Oh well. Not that i'll be driving manual cars anymore right? Hehe.
No more clutch. Whee! I can drive myself to Monash already..
(since i'm actually supposed to drive myself there, coz nobody can fetch me.. not even my parents.)
Moreover, my dad has bought a 2nd hand myvi from his friend's son - who used to car pool with us - for me to drive to uni.
So basically, I used to sit in that car last year.
But from this year onwards, i'm gonna drive it myself.
It's like.. my car already! *drools*
It's not though.... But still cool right? hehe.
I believe i can drive...
But no, I'm still bad at roads and directions. @.@

It's all coming back
Happy new year, everyone!
I know it's already the 14th day of the new year, but anyway. This is my first post of 2010's, i want to start with a greet =P
The fact is, i am still on holiday, but, for quite a long period, i didn't go out.
Why?
There are several answers for this. Related answers.
1. The most well-known reason of Liew Yen Yee for not going out: the stupid transport problem. -_-
2. Therefore, in order not to give myself the depression of 'being imprisoned at home', i do everything that can make me feel good. All sorts of random things that can make me go "Hey! This is what you can do freely at home during holidays! Isn't it great? =D" and frankly, i do enjoy doing all this.
3. I'm currently obsessed with this Taiwanese drama called Time Story (光阴的故事 in Chinese) and i think it's the main reason that lasts me in the i'm-enjoying-myself-at-home mood for so long. Seriously, it's one of the best Taiwanese dramas i've ever watched! *thumbs up*
4. Is it because i have been home for too long? There were moments when i crave for isolation; i didn't feel like contacting anyone. Maybe i was trying to get myself emotionally prepared for a new life when uni starts?
Soon, 3 of them will be going to Aussie, 1 not sure where to go yet, while another one can still meet me in uni, taking different course.
I can hardly become expressive using English; you all know that.

Also may it be that i'm trying to escape from the fact that i am leaving my dear college mates real soon.
And i realize the statement above only when i finally get to see them again. Which happened today.
Everything went as our usual outings: a very random plan to go out, the lucky me to have them picking me up from home (a big thank you!), those lame jokes, childish fights, and the fun of being ourselves around each other.
Hence, all my silly efforts of being isolated are melted down. It all comes back in a package - just when i thought i can let go of it quite coolly. Now i'm not sure if i still can. I could've probably lied to myself.

I tried my best on the blog. This post in particular.
It's amazing how i can become good friends with you all with such a problem. XP
I'M GONNA MISS YOU GUYS LOADS!! I'm actually starting to miss already.

Holidays with Morrie
Two more days to the end of year 2009. Wow.
And i'm not prepared for year 2010. Well, not really prepared.
Come to think of it. I'm turning 19 next year? NINETEEN? Gawd, that sounds old. (didn't mean to offend anyone older than me.. lol.. old among teenagers alright) Besides, my 18th birthday had just passed a month, and i'm going to be 19 years old in a few more days? Sigh. Oh well.
Holidays have been nice although the things i've been doing don't seem very interesting.. haha.
Currently reading this book of Mitch Albom called "Tuesdays with Morrie". It talks about "an old man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson" ( as you can see from the book cover =P). It's indeed a very inspiring book. Quite a thin book - not thick at all - but i'm reading it very slowly, trying to digest every meaningful line as deeply as i can.
This a part of the book that i like very much:
One afternoon, I am complaining about the confusion of my age, what is expected of me versus what I want for myself.
"Have I told you about the tension of opposites?" he says.
Tension of opposites?
"Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted.
"A tension of opposites, like a pull on a rubber band. And most of us live somewhere in the middle."
Sounds like a wrestling match, I say.
"A wrestling match." He laughs. "Yes, you could describe life that way."
So which side wins, I ask?
"Which side wins?"
He smiles at me, the crinkled eyes, the crooked teeth.
"Love wins. Love always wins."
And these:
"Everyone knows they are going to die, but nobody believes it."
"Once you know how to die, you know how to live."
You see. How can a holiday be boring with such a meaningful book? It makes me think of how i have been doing all these times, how to live life to the fullest, what are my dreams and what i can do in order to pursue them, what's the correct attitude towards life and so on.
I feel enriched, yet i'm still looking for the answers.
