:S

This morning, I got to watch a tv programme called "102 Minutes That Changed America" on History Channel.

It was about the collapse of the two main buidings of the World Trade Centre in America on 11th September, 2001. The "911 incident", you know.. the historical disaster.

The show was cool and worth watching as it was very professionally edited. They got several videos recording every bits of here and there throughout the collapse of the buildings: (warning: the show was labeled 18 ><)

The aeroplane penetrate through the buildings in the morning (i didnt watch that part coz i joined in halfway, but i suppose they got),
The top floors of the buildings were on fire..
People ran for their lives..
Women unable to withstand the shock and cried..
People unable to get out and desperately waving, seeking for help from the windows..
Someone recording from a building nearby witnessed a person jumped down and died..
Firemen trying their best to help.. got into the building and used walkie-talkie to communicate..
The situation was broadcasted almost immediately via a large tv screen on the other side of the town and everyone went like "OH MY GOD"..
etc etc..

It was supposed to be a normal, working morning but then the whole town was in such a big mess..

..and finally, one of the buidings collapsed.. (i wonder if the firemen who used the walkie-talkie in the building just now survived)..
The haze it caused was super duper horrible.. so thick and dark.. and it's spreading so fast..
This time, everyone was running like mad from the haze.. people failed to avoid the haze got their whole body in white and undergo difficulty to breathe....
Some buildings nearby were also destroyed.. places where many ppl were running just now went empty..
Firemen and police couldnt do anything anymore and they stayed there, feeling terrible..
People crying over their loved ones..
etc etc...

And all these happened from 9 something to 10 something in the morning. Just within 102 minutes.

I was ten during that year and i remember i heard about that news. In fact i even watched the recording of the incident that time. But of course, that wasn't so in detail, just the collapsing part. Back then i didn't really feel anything, simply because it was too unbelievable and i was too young to imagine the pain.

But now I can.

Imagine it's just another ordinary day and you've just started working in the morning and all these happened, just within an hour. That's such a nightmare. In fact i hope it was just a nightmare. But sadly, it so HAPPENED.

Imagine it's a fresh Saturday morning and you just decided to chill in the living room and watch tv with family, then you come across this programme and you cant help but keep on watching although it is horrible and depressing (coz you can hardly watch a special programme like this); then within the hours of watching you can't withstand the continuous shock and feel dizzy while your stomach is like churning inside.

I don't have to imagine, I've been through that.

Ughh.

Actually i had recovered from the trauma, but now it all comes back as i'm remembering it again. Then why am i still writing all these down? Despite the fact that the show was actually worth watching..

Maybe it's because i think sometimes i need to face the ugly sides of life, and take them. They do exist, no matter how hard you try to ignore them.

Still, i need to do something to cheer myself up. Music might help, perhaps.
And i'm sorry if this post disturbed your mood..

Good Day

Goodday fresh milk is nice.. LOL WTH~~ jkjk

Have been quite busy these days. Decided to become a true NERD until the end of finals. And i actually realise i kinda enjoy doing so.. haha. At least i'm keeping myself on track and not making myself regret for panicking at the very last minute..

Time management is really important. Now i can feel the difference as i try to improve on that.

Today has been a nice day as i actually find myself enjoy being busy the whole day. I was so into what i was doing (which is, currently, the bio research) i didn't feel hungry or sleepy. (Though the productivity is still not high.. but there's an improvement!) Maybe i shall consider staying back at college more often to do my work.. the atmosphere there is much better for me to study than at home.

I should be going to sleep or continue a bit on my work now.. But i just find today special because of my unexpectedly great attitude, and i feel like complimenting myself about that. Good one, Yen Yee! Keep it up! XD

No, i'm not being vain...
